As Autumn has arrived upon Scotland, bringing cooler temperatures and often challenging weather, certain plants can still offer vibrant colour and structure to your gardens. Here are three excellent choices that will thrive in the Scottish autumn climate. 

1. Japanese Anemone

Japanese Anemones are elegant, late-flowering perennials valued for their hardiness and ability to thrive in partial shade. They are well suited to the Scottish climate and provide a continuous bloom from later summer through to the first hard frosts. 

2. Skimmia Japonica
